GreaterFindlayInc. will hold its 40th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament Monday, September 8, 2008 at the Findlay County Club. This signature event features networking opportunities, direct exposure and connection to the business community as well as gifts and prizes!
During this must-attend event with over 150 golfers on the course, GreaterFindlayInc. will recognize and welcome new President and CEO, Eric S. Philllips.
Phillips formally accepted a position at GreaterFindlayInc. on July 21, 2008. Phillips will be leaving his position as executive director of the Union County-Marysville Economic Development Partnership and chief executive officer for the Union County Chamber of Commerce where he has been employed for seven years. He will take office at GreaterFindlayInc. in September.
With over 18 years in the public and private sector, Phillips has experience in developing financial packages and building consensus and formulating policy objectives with multiple local governments and organizations. Phillips' major accomplishments include developing the Economic Development Action Plan and developing the Union County-Marysville Economic Development Partnership. He also designed and planned the Richwood Industrial Park and administered over $4.3 million in grants for various projects including the Marysville Uptown Renewal Team which is responsible for the revitalization and implementation a plan to revitalize Historic Uptown Marysville.

The golf tournament format will be team scramble played in foursomes. Cost is $295 per person and includes a cart, 18-holes, driving range, meals, and a complimentary ticket to the Crowning of the Champions Awards Ceremony. Registration is limited to the first 32 teams, so sign up today!
